Identifying the pieces that work, getting clients out of style ‘ruts’ – sourcing pieces – preferably pre-loved or new, quality investment pieces to bring into your wardrobe – it’s a holistic process – focusing on body positivity and moving the client forward so they feel liberated from any what to wear angst!

A session at the client's home which combines elements of Matisa Styling.

Identifying the pieces that aren’t working for you, looking at altering pieces that you love but they need a little re-working, moving pieces on for re-sale (at Matisa!) or to donate if they are not re-sellable items for Matisa.   Also, guidance for archiving pieces that you might no longer wear but love and would like to keep them safe and well preserved!

It’s a gentle process – let’s be clear – it’s not a detox! I really don’t identify with the concept of a wardrobe detox as it implies that we have bought toxic items into our wardrobe which I really don’t think is anyone’s intention – ever!  I am also happy to offer advise how to make your storage more effective and how to keep your wardrobe working for you and sparking joy when you dress each day and to be inspired by the clothes you have!
