TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SELLING

·       We ask that all items are in excellent saleable condition and no older than two seasons (two years).   Please ensure that they are freshly laundered/dry cleaned and do not need repairing.

·       We reserve the right to decline items that are not the brands we carry/are not seasonal or in good condition.

·       Drop-offs are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on Tuesdays through to Friday. 

·       To complete the Form quickly and efficiently we take up to EIGHT items per drop off unless with prior agreement.

·       The minimum selling price will communicated to you via email prior to selling the items.

·       We will take every care to protect the items you bring to us but all items are left at your own risk. While on our premises your items are NOT insured against damage, loss or theft. 

·       After six weeks any items that have failed to sell will be taken off sale and put to one side for you to collect. We will endeavour to send you a collection reminder message then hold these items for one more week allowing you time to collect or call to make alternative arrangements.

·       If you do not make contact after a second reminder the items will become the property of the agency. Without further reference to yourself, they will be reduced for a quick sale or donated to a charity of the agencies choice. 

·       For each item sold Matisa Market shall retain 50% of the selling price and you will receive the other 50%.

·       Any money owed to you for items sold may be collected from the shop during open hours or alternative arrangements made. 

·       Please keep your form safe to enable you to check your items at the end of each season.   Unsold items can only be collected upon presentation of the client’s copy of the Form.

·       We have a store policy that we do not reserve the items nor do we take a deposit on the items to reserve them.

If they do need cleaning and/or repairing I am happy to provide this service but the client is responsible for paying these additional charges per item - even if the repaired/cleaned item does not sell.

·       I reserve the right to decline items that are not the brands I carry/are not seasonal or in good condition.

·       The proposed selling price will be communicated to you via email prior to selling the items.

·       I will take every care to protect the items you bring to Matisa Market but all items are left at your own risk. While on my premises your items are NOT insured against damage, loss or theft. 

·       After eight to twelve weeks any items that have failed to sell will be taken off sale and put to one side for you to collect. Your final account will be prepared and a cheque ready for your collection. I will endeavour to send you a collection reminder message then hold these items for one more week allowing you time to collect or call to make alternative arrangements.

·       If you do not make contact after a second reminder the items will become the property of Matisa Market. Without further reference to yourself, they will be reduced for a quick sale or donated to a charity of Matisa Market’s choice.
